The 12-Year Cask Strength is one of the strongest Irish whiskeys you can taste, it's 55,8% ABV. It has a caramel color with fruity aromas of citric fruits, all spice and honey. On the palate you get some sweetness of honey, rich flavors of fruit and a hint of oak with a satisfying long finish.

This full body whiskey was a pleasant surprise for a cask strength. I thought it was going to be strong, alcohol and wood forward but it was actually very tasty, fruity and you can barely notice the wood. So, if you don't like strong oak forward whiskeys you should add this one to your list. Plus, it's a great value, about $55, and for sure a great quality whiskey.
