Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages 2019 - Beaujolais, France

You might recognize this label, Louis Jadot has gained and important international reputation. The House of Louis Jadot has been producing exceptional Burgundy wines since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot.

This wine in particular is their Beaujolais-Village, a wine made from the Gamay grape variety. This fruit-forward, juicy wine of a medium ruby color has expressive aromas and flavors of violet, raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, red plum, black cherry, flint, graphite.

It’s a dry wine with medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, low tannin, light body and medium plus finish. This is an ideal pairing for your Thanksgiving dinner -or other poultry dishes- and mild cheeses. It’s not a wine meant for ageing, so enjoy it as soon as you buy it.
